Agreed! I'm very impressed. We should really be able to move things along now. I'm especially interested to see what he can do for marketing football this season, especially since that was the first thing MJS mentioned when LaVicka asked her about her priorities.

Still, I don't expect naming rights any time soon. It takes some time to build up relationships with boosters/local businesses. Remember that he accomplished all those things at tOSU over the course of 15 years and plus, he went there for undergrad so he knew the lay of the land. And it was tOSU.

I'm also a little surprised that he was announced yet there hasn't a BOT meeting to approve his contract yet… or maybe MJS just unilaterally signed off on this one.

It's exciting that he could make this happen for them and the possibility of what he might do for us. We're obviously deficient in a number of places and I know Administration isn't happy the stadium doesn't have naming rights done yet, but if we got $10M today I'd rather it go to a new baseball stadium.
