Volleyball Falls to Western Kentucky
The Hilltoppers (18-5, 7-1 Sun Belt) went ahead early in the first set and eventually took the set 25-14 behind six Lindsay Williams kills. In the second set, FAU (10-12, 1-5) fell behind to an extended service run by WKU, the Owls pulled to within four points late in the set, but the they were unable to fully close the gap, losing the set 25-18.
The Owls had a 16-12 lead in the third set, but a 13-6 run gave Western Kentucky the set and the match.
FAU faces Middle Tennessee at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.
