Volleyball's Postseason Hopes Dealt Serious Blow
The Owls (12-17, 3-10 Sun Belt) were never able to find their rhythm during the match. The Ragin’ Cajuns capitalized and used the Owls’ difficulties to their advantage. FAU had early leads in all three sets, only for ULL to rally their way back to the lead.
Senior Anne Vaughan led FAU with eight kills, while classmate Kristyna Dzmuranova had seven. The Owls must defeat ULM on Saturday and await Sunday’s results to see if they are still alive in the hunt for one of the eight spots in the Sun Belt tournament.
Saturday’s match with ULM begins at 6:30 p.m.
