Brick Sidewalk Fundraising Campaign

Or the wall for the intitial seson ticket holders? Just over 30 days til opener and news coming out of FAU is slight regarding opening game time, pre-game events, fetaures such as the brick sidewalk and wall…

I know the stadium is new but lets get with it and get it planned and announced and maps and….don't really need 30,000 lost pepole in a month!

I got season tickets… did we have to submit info for the wall? I haven't heard about this?

Re: Brick Sidewalk Fundraising Campaign

Initial season ticket holders for the new stadium are "suppossed" to have their names on a wall plaque somewhere in the new stadium. Probably be somewhere where the little guys (not a priority, premium or suite season ticket holder) like me can't even get to see it though! :-\

31 days til home opener and (to me) LOTS of details not being discussed or released or whatever.

Re: Brick Sidewalk Fundraising Campaign

It's my understanding that the brick campaign will be done before the stadium opens. There was a deadline to order bricks that were going to be laid on the "first run" so-to-speak before the stadium opens. So, going off of that deadline, I believe the brick campaign will be ready to go.

Re: Brick Sidewalk Fundraising Campaign

That would be very cool! Speaking as one of the many out-of-state alumni who can only afford one trip to Florida a year, I would love to see my "brick" and the other things offered as incentives to boost season ticket sales in place for the home opener. I am sure they are trying but we also know of FAU's track record in keeping schedule and promises at tomes. Very much looking forward to the trip this year, regardless of the extra "stuff" and game outcome (BUT I WANT A WIN OF COURSE). It will be a great day to see FAU step into the level of our other major state Universities! I love to say it and I really beleive it - the future is bright for FAU - GO OWLS!

I was there on campus about two weeks ago. Unless those bricks are going in the walkway from the Rec Center/Alumni Center to the stadium across Lee Street, they won't be there. I didn't see them anywhere and I walked all around the stadium (I was looking for them)

So not sure what's happening with that.

Anyone know who would know about that?
