Don't get me wrong…two would be awesome!

But, they only need one…not both?

Stadium and field rights?

It will be Schnellenberger field for sure. It will just have to wait until he retires.

I wish I could be so sure.  With all the talk about naming rights for the stadium, field, pressbox, lockers, urinals, I'm afraid anything they can hang a corporate sign on is fair game.  I hope they at least give us that one.

Also, they didn't have to wait for Bowden to retire.  Then again, Bowden might never retire.

Big Ticket Items

Stadium $20 Million

Innovation Village $5 Million

Field $5 Million

Clock Tower $3 Million

Press Box $3 Million

Scoreboard $3 Million

Family End Zone $3 Million

Stadium Boulevard $3 Million

Plaza $2 Million

Bronze Owl Sculpture $1 Million

Four Cornerstones $1 Million / each

So if what they say is true, one company could be buying Stadium, Innovation Village, and Field all in one fair swoop while the other gets 4 of the $3M rights.

I'm not surprised that people aren't falling over themselves to name a family endzone or a press box. It's not like that exposure is going to do much for your business. It's essentially philanthropy at that point.

we could call the area surrounding the stadium hooterville

We could get a hooters in the innovation village...that would be a good draw from the outside of FAU, especially if it had FAU coeds... i dunno about calling it hooterville though.
