The survey was not bogus at all. If you're building the stadium are you going to count on season ticket holders and the onesie twosey ticket purchases or the corporations that drop close to a quarter of a million dollars to help fund the stadium?

Corporate sponsorships are HUGE. College football is big business.

I also suspect that the amount of business interest in purchasing a luxury suite will directly impact the BOT decision on building this project.

You are right that sponsorship is a big deal, but they should also focus on seeing how many potential season ticket holders are out there. If they can sell luxery boxes and club seats that is great, but not if the rest of the stadium is empty. This shouldn't be an attempt to cater only to high dollar clients. If they want to get a real feel for the feasibility of the stadium they should also be looking at regular season ticket holders.

To be honest, I think they already have that information. All they need to do is look at the current season ticket holders. Folks like us, of the 10,000 or so that showed up for yesterdays home opener.

If we win, people show up, it's sad, but the truth. This is still south Florida with it's fair weather fans. All you have to do is look at our playoff game with Colgate in Div. II.- I remember that almost 20,000 people where there, please-Colgate.

I have supported Coach and his boys since Slippery Rock, and I still be there if we were 0-10. I know that alot of members of this Nest feel the same. But unfortunately, most people out there don't have that passion, including some alumni (believe me, I work with some of them).

If we win…they will buy the tickets. Both season or single games.

Exactly as prowler said. They know by looking at the demographics of the current season ticket holders whether or not they will renew tickets or not to some degree. Anyone who is a ticket holder in Palm Beach County should be a lock to buy season tickets in Boca.

I'm sure they also anticipate a nice boost in ticket sales to students and the immediate local area.

If it was all about the fans tickets wouldn't be as expensive as they are. College sports is a business, no two ways about it.

a stadium on campus will attract more people in palm beach who don't have a football team in the area. since a lot of people in fort laurderdale already go to Miami and Dolphin games will be able to attract ones that aren't looking for such a drive from the north.
