With that said, they are no longer doing franchises. All the new stores will be corporate owned. The good news is they have major expansion plans set for South Florida. So keep your eyes open….
What did they say about Innovation Village? I think they should contact Business Services if they are seriously interested…

I love the flats and looked into trying for a franchise. The requirements now are QUITE steep. The only want people willing to take on 4 store growth plans. Might be differnet if you'vd got a connection but my god what they want for a franchise is bordering on criminal.
Not to get off subject, but the reason they were requiring that type of investment was because they are in a growth mode. They wanted people with lots of experience and capital. It is also much wiser to deal with 1 main franchisee rather then 10 smaller ones. With that said, they are no longer doing franchises. All the new stores will be corporate owned. Good to hear, I love the concept, and the food was always very fresh and as you said large portions. The hot sauce bar is awsome although I stick to the mild side.

He did not say anything….I forwarded him the comments made on this post. Whether or not it is a good fit for them, is their decision. All I could do is pass along the information. We shall see.
P.S. Personally though, I think it is a great fit…

Yeah, the more I think about it, the more I like it. Let us know what he says, if anything.

Tijuana Flats update….They are interested and their real estate team is going to look into it. Don't recall who brought up there name, but thanks. I would love to see them on our campus. The owners are also very cool and they do a lot of stuff for charity.
That was me,
Feel free to have them send me a case of Smack my ass and Call me sally. Thats good stuff.

They are also very pro-UCF, since at least one of the two founders are UCF Alumni. Hopefully it works out for FAU. If you look in any one rest, they have a signed Daunte pic and at least one O'Leary signed pic, the one in Lake Mary also has a signed K. Smith Pic also but don't know if other rest have the pic.

The should let 620 Subs put a location on campus, that place is dynamite and the owner has supported FAU since day 1.
Thats what actually made me think of the sub place I daydream about. I know that 620 subs is always listed as as a sponsor. The location would probalby kill him. Right now there isnt enough support OC in my opinion. That will change over the next few years.
Ive never been there, are the subs pretty good? For great subs I usually drive to La Spadas in Coral Springs, but if the quality is good at 620 ill have to try it out.

Yup, true.
I would make that a condition of in taht they couldnt have UCF pictures in there if its on campus grounds. Instead have pictures of Howard up along with all the other celebrites.
