Tijuana Flats update….They are interested and their real estate team is going to look into it. Don't recall who brought up there name, but thanks. I would love to see them on our campus. The owners are also very cool and they do a lot of stuff for charity.

They are also very pro-UCF, since at least one of the two founders are UCF Alumni.  Hopefully it works out for FAU.  If you look in any one rest, they have a signed Daunte pic and at least one O'Leary signed pic, the one in Lake Mary also has a signed K. Smith Pic also but don't know if other rest have the pic.

I would make that a condition of in taht they couldnt have UCF pictures in there if its on campus grounds. Instead have pictures of Howard up along with all the other celebrites.

Yeah, we don't want any UCF stuff on our campus (no offense to Knight fans who visit our board)… although the Daunte pic could be written off as an NFL thing.

Ive never been there, are the subs pretty good? For great subs I usually drive to La Spadas in Coral Springs, but if the quality is good at 620 ill have to try it out.

In my experience, the subs are nothing to write home about but they're cheap, the meat is fresh, the staff works fast and they support FAU.

I could see a 620-subs on campus though. Wonder if they've been contacted.

What did they say about Innovation Village? I think they should contact Business Services if they are seriously interested…

He did not say anything….I forwarded him the comments made on this post. Whether or not it is a good fit for them, is their decision. All I could do is pass along the information. We shall see.

P.S. Personally though, I think it is a great fit…

I've been talking to a lot of people and nobody seems to know anything. It's really frustrating. I talked to guy with Chartwells who said that they were working on food service for the Alumni building (so they're done with that) THEN the food service in the new Science and Engineering building (he initially told me they were leaning toward Chick-fil-a but now said things are up in the air) and THEN they'll do Innovation Village stuff. So much for multi-tasking.  :
