I would think that coach Schnellenberger wants to be able to show new recruits more than stakes and tape. He probably pushed to get something started before recruits start planning their visits.

That is a benefit.  But I think they are doing it primarily so everything is ready to go.  The last piece is financing and rather than wait and do steps in order, they are doing every step they can so when the financing comes in Q1 2010, they can go straight to construction.  To me, it is a great sign that this is going to happen.

I think they were just clearing land before though
