The Team REALLY needs to put together another winning season, followed by a bowl victory. That will give them the momentum and people will DEMAND that this gets done.
Unfortunately, we don't have time to put together another winning season and a bowl victory. We need the ball rolling now.
Like things, love people.

It's not like we have a choice…
Sure we do…get the pink slips out, clean house, and bring in some folks who know how to fundraise:
Problem solved.

Re: Money Problems for the stadium?
"Please keep in mind that they have an existing football stadium that they are renovating up to 18,000 seats in the first phase. This is going to cost them somewhere in the $30 million range. They have financed that through a variety of existing dollars, a new student fee amount and some other options. Their pro-forma is much different than ours. However, if we are not able to build the stadium that we would like to at this time, it is possible that we could start with a smaller one such as the FIU and continue to build on over time…"

From Angelos in regards to the comparison between FAU and FIU and our options:

Are we not already starting with a "smaller one" and planning on building over time?? I thought the plan was 30,000-35,000 seats with room for expansion to 50,000 plus. Say we start with 20,000 season as opposed to 30,000. Is that really going to bring the price down that much??
