It's the incredible shrinking stadium!
They were entertaining a dual open ended stadium (see Appalachian State), so this is a step forward with respect to that…

I don't think so!fiu_panther said
Are they still planning it for 30,000 seats?
It looks like they are shooting for 25K seats with a plan to close the end-zone to achieve 30K in the future.
How does it feel to have an on campus stadium?

Of the new design, I like this concept with the blue seats and the logo in the seating. If they bothered with a rendering, they must be considering it.
There's a nice detail there with the blue "wave" going through the seats, although the building behind the south end zone has disappeared. This stadium would really look great if there were seats in the southeast corner.
The capacity is tough to judge because I can't really see how much of the stadium is devoted to the club seats. Comparing to the previous renderings, the height of the south end zone all around was the 30k stadium, whereas the height of the north end zone was the 40k version. So, here we have a combination. However, the east sideline is really short (missing a whole section).

Although I think if they build the Innovation Village shops into the stadium, they could take on the "beach town" architectural style seen in places like Seaside, Florida
Example 1:
Example 2:
That would be really unique and cool.

Very good idea. Email the University Architect about that..I know they have an FAU style they are going for, but this would really pop.
