Well I for one don't care much for calling you or your source out time will sort all of this out.  I'm just hoping to hear some good news this week, as we know that the beginning of the week was a little shocking.

If any of you hears anything and feels willing to share help those of us without connections out.  I'd love to hear it.

i mean, they would do it for money right?   because they see a return…so if someone says that the deal is moving forward, how does it change that fact - that they will make money?

No, I think this may inspire more people to go to the bonfire in the hopes that something will be announced.

Although we all sit around here and go, "all of you need to go to the game!" when we know that, if you're on here and you can go, you'll be at the game. It's preaching to the choir.

I do think that… if they intend to announce the name of the sponsor, they should definitely include that in the marketing for this thing. Non-Owlsnest People will want to come out and find out the details.

Boca's threatening but they don't understand we can't wait 5-10 years to build this thing. It may get ugly. This may be University Commons part deux with Boca.

And at least University got done. Its so popular I dont see how the city can bitch anymore. It has enahanced the area with the Whole foods and restaurant row.

it does give them validation towards the traffic problems…but they have nothing more than talk of it to "leverage" our way…

I mean before Commons, Glades was bad, but not that bad…now, with Regal on top of Commons, Glades is a stinkin nightmare at times…

I did hear that the meeting took place.

Only indication of anything is that the meeting went longer then expected which I took to be a good thing as that means lots of discussion was going on.

Thanks for the updates Owlfamily. I too think that if the meeting went longer then expected it can only be a good thing. I guess they say no news is good news

To be honest, with the time factor involved in getting this thing done by '10 - I figured we would have hard a lot more about this stuff  - this is starting to become desperation time if you ask me.

Hopefully, on Thursday we hear good news.

Could sprint be the stadium sponsor?  Now headquartered in Kansas City. Also goes with the Ring of fire logo.
