I feel the same way. But I can tell you that I was there on Friday and there's nothing to see but green fences and dirt right now.

Starting to look and feel like we have not signed a financing deal. They told everyone lots of action would begin basically the next day. I know some has, basically foundation work, footings, I guess.

They have laid down some concrete/rebar pilings in the middle of the construction area, which looks like support collumns of some kind.  They are making headway on the drainage system right now, based on what I've seen.  Not sure what to look for, but every day I see progress.

I drive by at least twice a week.

Nothing really VERTICAL as of yet, as Nissan said lots of Rebar sticking u about 2-3 foot in the air in lots of places.

I did notice the other day that it looks like a 2nd crane has been added and I also saw concrete being pumped into the ground.

Id say they are well on the way to having the foundation in place. Nothing vertical can be done until thats put down.

Utilities take time, as most of the underground work does...footings that will support the structure, etc., but once everything is in place, the actual structure will go up quickly.

Francois is right,  builiding infrastructure is the most important, yet most boring/uneventful/time consuming part of construction.  Until all the pipes are layed, wires run, drains installed, concrete finsihed, nothing will be really noticeable.  But you only get one shot at getting that stuff right, once there is a stadium on top, it is hard to go back and fix things.  And can someone please remember to install the water fountains? ;D

Ill do a drive by today and see if antying is going on. I doubt it but one never knows. If I see anything Ill be sure to post, but Im willing to bet they are still on foudation stuff.

Like duder said, gotta get that stuff right the first time since you cant really go back and repair.
