if you guys want to get a good shot, just go into the new engineering building and go to the 5th floor to the roof garden.  Perfect location to see whats going on. Saw it at the ribbon cutting yesterday.  Just didnt have a camera on me

does anyone know if the school is going to be using a web cam we can access on the fau site to see the progress on the stadium?

I sure hope so, the other two new stadiums I am familiar with, Akron and N. Texas both had/have one!

Now we hear that we HAVE NOT YET signed the financing deal. I really did not think so as I could not imagine this type of event not being publicized and then the bank officials to not attend the so called "official" stadium groundbreaking.

Supposed to happen now this Friday according to Angelos, let's hope so!!!!!!!!!!
If those footers are set, let's hope that on say Monday, we see some BIG equipment and structural steel start to arrive on campus, afetr all, recruiting signing period is coming and I want that thing to look real interesting to any and all recruiting prospects!

Loan or not, they are moving pretty fast.

Drove by today and ther are starting to drop in large concrete boxes (walls) on the pylons.

2 were up and they were droping a 3rd as I drove by.

Must be using our cash for the current infrastructure and foundation work. Good to see we have the confidence to begin construction on our dollar while waiting for the loan to close!

Exciting to see any and all work being done, Go OWLS!!!!!!!!

Really, What is the hold up on the Loan?  Is the Bank holding it up or are just looking things over and the bank  is just waiting for us to sign the loan?  This really sucks that the Stadium is still not guaranteed yet!

I think the structure currently rising from the ground means that it is pretty guaranteed…

Loan will close Friday or Monday per Angelos…
