Howard Guggenheim Stadium at Howard Schnellenberger Field.  The House that Howard built!

I'm with LM on the Howard Schnellenberger Field and I still say have a bronze statue of him outside the stadium at the Main Entrance.

Yeah that would be pretty cool to have!

I work for OD…they are ineterested in things that bring immediate ROI…and to establish academic related partnerships…

they gave up on sports venues a few years ago when Steve Odland (current CEO) came in…they went with Nascar as sole sports marketing partnership…

NOW, i could always be wrong, but i still see it having no chance…

Hmmmmm??? NASCAR. Now, that's an organization that's known for it's Intellectuals.

totally agree…but its a sheer numbers game with OD…if you recall, they used to sponsor athletics big time:

Celtics
Panthers
Pacers

now, its just the nascar folks…

maybe that will change with FAU Football…i dont see how they could get a better bang for the buck given a little time

Hey guys easy on the NASCAR hate, it has one of the biggest followings around, and I think any business that had the opporitunity to get a sponsorship there and did not take it is just plain stupid.

Back on topic though, after getting my fix of food from there when I was at the USF game, I think Flannigan's should step up.  I know they probably don't have nealy enough cash to get into a naming battle, but it would be cool.  So many good slogan/names:  Flannigan Stadium, Big Daddy's House, Flannigan Field, The Big House.  There could be all kinds of promotions at all the restaurants too, which would get us a bunch of advertising seeing as there is a Flannigans on about every corner in S. Fla.

Probably not realistic, but it would be cool, and at the end of the day I don't care who gets us the stadium, as long as we get it.  Besides, we (the fans) are probably gonna give it our own name once we start playing there anyway.

So lets start a list of real companies around town that could be our sponsor:

1. JM Family
2. Citrix
3. ADT / Tyco
4. Appliad Card Systems CCBank
5. DHL
6. Publix
7. Boca Resort
8. Motorolla
9. Bank Atlantic
10. Sun Sentineal
11. Amex
12. Ed Morse
13. Any of the Brokerage Houses in town that have zillions of $$$'s from all of the boca people… Morgan, Smith, ect

We can add to the list, but what we really need is someone who works at these places to get the wheels turning…
