Stat to note:
The Cardinal defense has 14 sacks through three games, nearly matching their entire 2015 total of 17.Posted On: Sep 20th 2016, 1:59 PM #359523
Great………… This could be the beginning of the end of the Partridge era if you ask me.

This fanbase's favorite months are March (Spring Practice) and August (Fall Practice). God forbid we lose to 2 Power 5 teams whether you respect them or not, we clearly had no respect for the U and K-State. The K-State was incredibly disappointing but there are 9 games left. I think the Ball State game will be a very even match. If we clean up our mistakes and stabilize the offensive line we will be ok. I was hoping against common sense that a Redshirt Sophmore starting QB and a brand new offensive coordinator installing a new offense would go smoothly. It hasn't! A lot of people were happy that Brian Wright was retained when Charlie was hired. That was a mistake, should have let Charlie get his guy from the start. Hindsight is 20/20. Lets see if the kids come out with pride Saturday and don't quit. If they do that we may be ok the rest of the way. Barring more injuries.

BUT…
The truth of the matter everyone is tired of being in this movie:
It's the same thing every year for the last 5 years, and it is getting old.
On a side note, posted this in the game thread, which you may not have seen but Toldeo (BW's offense) is putting 44.2 ppg, and they are 3-0.

Toledo vs. 0-3 Arky St., FCS MAINE and 1-2 Fresno St. NOT Power 5 programs by ANY means. they are doing well and winning when they are supposed to though!Rick said

This will shock even more (I'm not all for firing Charlie right not) despite me having very little faith Charlie provides any game day edge or has shown major player development outside of a couple players. Being forced to fire him after this season would be a disaster. We have put so many chips into having the hometown local, loving recruiter I don't know where the program would turn because FIU had a guy like that and despite Mario having many of the problems Charlie has with poor game day coaching they turned to a more vet coach and got Turner :(.
I was/still am was hoping that just based on C-USA talent we could win 7-8 and overcome the fact that Charlie is was just DL coach who might have gotten in over his head.
OC Irritant my question is again what does Charlie that provides wins because it just been excuses the whether its the Pelini roster, lack of seniors and now its a new system.
Willie Taggart had two new coaches last year hand has been 12-3 since.
PJ Fleck continues to win despite being in Kalamazoo Michigan.
I want Charlie to win I really really do because of the reasons I stated, but when does he just WIN?

Never thought I'd see the day where you know who has a little OC40 pitch forks and torches in his post . (This is positive BTW)

One of the rare times I agree with OC40. Charlie seems to everything right except where it counts most. I was sitting 3 rows behind the FAU bench against Southern Illinois and I just got the feeling that we are in for another long year. I have absolutely zero faith in this staff. The hard part is, we all know he's goingto be back next year no matter what because it'll be the first time one of his classes are seniors. The fab 15 will all be third year guys so there is really no excuse at that point. He's good at making excuses though.
