what worries me is that teams will key on the run and force Driskell to throw the ball.

I think ODU tried to key on the run today.  It didn't work.

Owls sub in the second string defense. ODU responds with a 75 yard TD.

FAU puts in the second string defense to start this drive.

The Monarchs score immediately on a 75 yard run. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

ODU Jeremy Cox has most yards in his career against FAU. Records seem to be set against FAU a lot.

Why is Driskel still in the game?

I don't  even know how to act right now. 2 in a row in conference play?

That might be true, but our opponents have to stop it first. I think our RBs (Singletary is special and Howell isn't a huge drop off) can make a difference even with 8 guys in the box. I am new to CUSA but I have a hard time thinking that the teams we play can shut this running game down.  I agree that we need to be able to throw a deep ball here and there, but if we keep pouring it on with the running game all the better.  Baylor's best season or 2 were when they ran the ball like crazy, so let's stay with that until somebody can stop it.
