At least he admitted the mistake of not telling Schomp to smother a bad snap. It just seems like he's admitting it's his fault an awful lot lately

I once thought FIU would discover Turner was a bad hire and he'd fail enough that they'd fire him and call it a learning experience, but now once again they've gone from bad to almost bowl eligible

…and a very short time ago, many of our self-proclaimed football experts labeled FIU a dumpster fire, and would have called for Turner's ouster in his first season had he been our coach.

That being said, I don't know what our problem is with this team. I don't get paid to know, but some people associated with the program do get paid to know what the problem is, and they need to figure it out real soon. Time for the leadership to lead.

Lets not FIU to much credit.
Though they are ahead of us right now on the field they 3 wins vs FBS teams this year and those 3 teams have combined for four FBS wins.
I would say they are moving fast in any type of way they are just less bad then others.

Notables from Coach Partridges FIU Presser on Monday…

This presser proves Charlie is either inept or a liar and anyone who still supports him is hurting this program.
1st. He said almost winning this game is ''encouraging'' we almost beat UTEP well look how low you have sunk this program.
We put up 5 less yards and the same points Vs UTEP as Incarnate Ward........I said before the games anything less the beating this team by 4 TD'S  would be a failure.

2nd and the most putrid quote was him not seeing how Trey not getting carries in the 2nd half we not key to not being successful.
Well Charlie let me get this right not getting the RB who had  100 Yards Vs Marshall and was Avg 16.1 yards a carry in this game carries in the 2nd half  was not a factor in blowing this game................please just absorb that.

Charlie is a snake oil salesmen who has no idea what he is doing and need to be removed from the program ASAP.

I'll admit, his tone and grammar are a little off (okay way off) however he has valid points.

The Owl's two deep for Saturday, per FAU:

One thing I like about this 2 deep. Is that a lot of the young bucks are getting plenty of playing time. Developing the talent we have. Imagine what these kids will be capable of in the next 2 years… (maybe that's Charlie's MO).

Quez should probably rest up till the UF game. He's become a pocket passer. I doubt the running threat is still there.

No No No No!
That's the MO he wants you to think.
Though we might be young a good coach doesn't lose to UTEP.

I want you guys to think of 19 games Charlie has coached how many Complete games have you seen this team play?
1 the Tulsa game last year.
Other then that every game has had major issues in it.

Ask yourselfs this Is Charlie getting the most out of this team???

Look at the Dolphins this was a team that looked lost and confused 3 weeks ago and with the same team they have played their 2 best games in years due to a change in leadership.

Notables from FIU head Coach Ron Turner's FAU Presser on Tuesday…

On Last Week’s 41-12 Win against Old Dominion

Overall I think it was a good win, a team win. On both sides of the ball and special teams, we did a lot of good things. We have some things that we can do better, that’s the good news when we watched tape, we all looked at it and said “we can play a lot better”. To be able to win like we did and say we can play better, to me is a good thing, so hopefully we will continue to do that. Again I thought there were a lot of good things during the course of the game and our guys stayed focused on doing their jobs during the game.  Which is what we emphasized, playing hard, fast and physical and doing job during the game.

On Florida Atlantic

It all starts with their QB, he’s a veteran that has been around for a long time. He’s given us problems in the past. He’s a big physical player that can run, hurts you running the ball, different than other QBs he runs and he’s physical and he looks to be physical running the ball. He can throw; he has a strong arm, a smart player really good player. Offensive line wise they have a lot of experience; it’s their second year playing together so they have a lot of experience playing together which is huge, nothing more important for an offensive line than continuity and playing together and some good athletes, a really good balance. They can run the ball, they can throw it, they got tight ends that can make plays, and they got a wide receiver that can make plays and some other guys. In the run game they’ve got several guys, we know them, we tried to recruit them and we know how good these guys are and what they can do offensively. They can hurt you in several ways.

On Jonnu play

I think the last couple of weeks he’s been able to get free a little bit more, they had to focus on different people and play their defense and Jonnu took advantage of that. He’s a great player as we all know and it was nice to get the ball in his hands to see him break tackles and do what he does.

On the Rivalry

Last week’s win is behind us, we talked about it on Sunday. Enjoy it for 24 hours. Now it’s time to move on, we know we have our big rivalry game this weekend against a good team a very good team it’s going to be a tough situation. We know they will be fired up for it. We have to a make sure we are as well and I’m sure we will be.

I mean I just don't understand give Trey Rodriguez the ball 1 time in the second half when he had been carrying the offense so yea I'd say Partridge is an idiot at best
