Would have been the first ever on the road I believe.

You're right - we could have been 0.500+ under Wright from the beginning. Like Crudele, the interim is better than the person previously in the position. We would have won vs Marshall and Rice. MTSU and ECU, probably not. Miami and Auburn definitely not. So that would put us at, 5-7, highest 7-5. But that's not how it shook out.

We might have fired Pelini at the perfect time to salvage the season.
