Well.. The last 8 are all winnable, and we need 6 of those to break even, 7 could win the conference.

Our defense needs to run, run, run, get FIT, they are tired in an environment they are used to playing in? unexcusable.

The last drive by WYO was an uninterrupted drive of 91 yards to take the lead, 91 yards in less than 4 minutes, with zero stops on any plays, every play was positive.

Coach Christensen noted in his Sunday TV show that FAU gave 12 of their players IVs while Wyoming had none.  It seems that the Pokes weathered the high temperatures and humidity better than the Florida players.  They certainly seemed better conditioned.

Lay you 10 to one they were mostly, if not all, defensive players…

Pretty shocking in general. But when viewed in the context of the performances in Q4 of the Wyoming game, it's not surprising at all. It seems very strange that a team from the Mountain West would fare so much better in hot and humid conditions. They do train, of course, at 7,220 feet, so breathing should be easy for them at 8 feet. But I worry about the conditioning for our guys if they had so much trouble at home. I shudder to think of this group going to play 60 minutes at 7,220 feet. Bring the oxygen, and lots of it. There's a difference, even for the young.

Big time Grayowl! I remember going to a wedding a few years back in the Tetons at 6,000 feet and having one beer, walking a few hundred yards up the mountain and practially falling over! It'll put a hurtin' on ya if you're not used to it.

Right on! Much cheaper to get drunk up here. FYI, sitting at balmy Coors Field (temp 42) awaiting start of Rockies-Phillies in 45 minutes. Temp will drop into 30s when sun goes behind Front Range but shouldn't sink into 20s. Air Force (vs. TCU) Saturday night was downright chilly: 21 degrees, wind chill 9, ice fog.
