Here's my opinion on the game.
1st we are the fastest team Marshall will see all season FIU's does not have close to the offensive play makers we do. As for D FIU's is over rated we put up over 400 yards against them. We turned the ball over 3 times inside there 20 we play them 100 more times we are winning 99 of them.

Marshall will not be able to run circles around us just on size and speed.
The key is we elimanate the mental mistakes but that's
real iffy. Our D held WKU to a TD in a half and the was only because of a bad running into a kicker call.

We need to have the ball for around 37 min. and around 275 yards on the ground to win this game.
I'm confident we have a better QB and run game the MTSU also more speed on D the key is us ring the speed right.

saw this on the conference USA website, and since we are playing Marshall, I thought I would share it here. Maybe AD Chun and several different potential investors can get a tour. But kudos to Marshall for getting this done. 45 million dollars gets a regulation size indoor practice facility, modern day weight room, academic center with lecture hall, sports nutrition center… But with game day coming up I have to say I am jelaous of Marshall.

Via the Register Herald…

We all know what they say about it sometimes being better to be Lucky than good. FAU has both in its passing game.

Senior receiver Lucky Whitehead has emerged as quarterback Jaquez Johnson’s top target for the Owls, who will be the eighth opponent to try to derail Marshall’s ride toward a perfect season Saturday at Joan C. Edwards Stadium. Kickoff will be 3:30 p.m. and Fox Spots 1 will broadcast nationally.

"you need great facilities to recruit great student athletes" great statements.

Unfortunately, there's only so much our amazing stadium, beaches, and palm trees can do.

And that would explain why we struggled with recruiting after a few years of promising a new stadium. Football recruits were expecting a new stadium and potentially a domed stadium.
Baseball must recruit just on reputation because those facilities are not going to attract any attention.

Do Michigan and Florida have good facilities?

Teambeer is the most knowledgeable FAU sports fan I know, way smarter than me.

Where's the red font?

Also, facilities is a huge reason why Miami program is no longer the same. Not many recruits care about the "U" stigma. A weight room, academic centers, and maybe an indoor practice facility will hold FAU program back until we get it.Let's put this body bag money to good use! Its amazing what this recruiting class looks like so far this year without those things.

One of the KEY reasons for Miss States upsurge in the football landscape directly involves their upgrade in facilities - particularly the Leo Seal Jr. Football Complex, which cost $25M.

It has helped them land better recruits when going head to head with the likes of Alabama…
