Thanks, I remember thinking it was a bad play, more so now that I know it's ended a college career.DeltAlumnus said
At the game when Reaser left the field Pelini went after the side judge for not calling an illegal block. You could hear him in the stands pretty much word for word what he said.teambeer said
Torn ACL, out for the year. Bummer, thats a big loss for us.
Did anyone else watch the game and see that play? Am I imagining that it was a chop block by a lineman that caused this?Posted On: Oct 8th 2013, 12:31 PM #319306Posted On: Oct 8th 2013, 12:48 PM #319311
Hope you had a good time in BHam, it's quite a place!
I wonder if we'll see Randy Moss and Chad Pennington on the sidelines for the Herd this weekend. Both of those guys are local, you'd imagine they'd be welcome to attend.Posted On: Oct 8th 2013, 4:08 PM #319319
Pennington actually just moved to Lexington, KY a couple of months ago and has been on the sidelines for all but 1 of Marshall's home games this year

Mobile quarterbacks have become the rule instead of the exception, but they are a little different each week. And so is the case with Florida Atlantic's Jaquez Johnson.
The best comparison you could draw with another QB is Virginia Tech's Logan Thomas. Johnson is not as big as Thomas, but he is 6-foot-1, 225 pounds and doesn't mind contact.
FAU QB Johnson doesn't shy away from contact

FAU's pass defense numbers might not add up to a winning record - the Owls, in their first year in C-USA, are 2-4 overall and 1-3 in the conference - Pelini said the pieces are in place for the team to compete with an advanced passing offense like Marshall's.

Weird. This guy basically cherry-picked every quote about possible chinks in our armor to make our defense seem like a mess. But if that's what the Marshall fans want to hear, so be it.

Couple stupid questions about this since I've never bought one of these packs before:Rick said
- I could take my sister and her husband to the game and only pay $15 for the three of us, right? Or $15 apiece?
- These tickets are usually in the endzone? They're basically the $11 Hootville seats?
- Where do you get the hotdog from, a special table? I assume you don't walk up to just any vendor and they have it.
I'm trying to get some new people to go and this would help my sales pitch.
