It must be wrong…I can't imagine that FAU would issue something that is incorrect.  And not to be picky…the date is wrong too!

I don't get that. The Shula bowl has an award that travels. How is that not a rivalry game? They're kidding themselves  and I hope we can destroy them every chance we get so this game becomes a non factor on the schedule. I don't wanna be associated with them as much as they don't with us.

You have to go back a few years and to the old board we used to post on which still might exist. We used to have more FIU people post on our board and they always minimized the rivalry saying FIU players and students don't consider FAU a rival. Their want a rivalry with UM. They minimized it saying they considered it just another conference game.
Also if you read the book written by an ex-assistant coach in the Cristobal era, "WTF Happened" he called the whole thing a bogus rivalry. You can down load it on Amazon for a few $ or less.

They never considered it a rivalry because they lost  every game except the last 2 years.

They look like fools thinking Miami is their rival.

Rick,  I hope the game has a solid attendance, but I worry about it simply because of the start time, even a 6pm Friday game would be better imho.  Won't be so hot either.

I think the 3:00 PM was due to TV…they seem to have all the bargaining power when it comes to scheduling.

What HS is that video from? Looks like something that you would see on Saturday morning children's programming.
