Marshall @ FAU Game Thread - October 18, 2019
Second off game in a row – granted his O line is not helping him or the run game in the least.
#VladiSZN spilts the uprights from 32 yard out. Still, disappointing to only get three points with the short field position.

And just like that, the rain is gone.
17-10 #FAU, 3:04 2Q
#Marshall waves for a fair catch on the kickoff. Then, the returner lets the ball hit the turf before returning it to the 20 yard line.

The entire #FAU coaching staff is trying to tell the refs how to do their job again.

So trying to be honest, every pass interference call was deserved. No need to put your hands on the guy, but every time it was PI. If we don’t try to actually run the football, we will have to rely on hoping a long pass or penalty will help us. We need to try and establish some kind of run game.Posted On: Oct 18th 2019, 7:44 PM #389873
I'm not trying to deny our won penalties. But we're not alone in them, is all.Posted On: Oct 18th 2019, 7:48 PM #389875
Just saying watching the replays, if that was a call for or against FAU we would all be screaming that it was interference. The FAU defenders had their hands all over the WR when there was absolutely no reason to on a bad pass.

You're not wrong.
The Herd are just a couple yards away from pay dirt.
Touchdown #Marshall.

Brenden Knox caps off a 93 yard drive with a one yard run up the gut. The Owls defense thought that they had the Herd RB stopped on third down, but his second effort allowed the visitors to tie.
17-17, #FAU ball on own 31 yard line with :08 left in 2Q.
