What a pathetic series by our defense before the half. We had our chances to blow this game open and haven’t. Feeling like 2018

Awful stuff.

Offense is struggling to move the ball. It’s what’s keeping them in game.

UGLY UGLY UGLY end to the first half fro FAU.

That will not be a fun lockeroom at the break.

At what point do we begin to think about putting Tronti in to mis things up. Maybe even have him throw a pass or two after a few successful runs.

We have 11 yards rushing on 18 rushes - and at least 3 of those were the awful delayed QB runs and then a couple of sacks.  This is exactly the kind of game Marshall wants, where we give them a bunch of 3-and-outs.  We have to tackle better, but we have to find some better play calls on offense to at least hold the ball and setup some passes.

Almost like Robison punts last year, I have to think Tronti runs are (at least in effort to?) setting up a long pass…

My app says there's no more rain down there?

Alright, we're back on for the second half. Owls let the ball go through the endzone for a touchback. FAU will begin the half in their 25 yard line.

No O line, bad decision making by Robison who is clearly shook with all the pressure – recipe for disaster. I recall Robison being considered somewhat of a dual threat by some out of high school(?). I know he scored with his feet earlier, but just don't see it overall.

The offensive line is so bad. I wish I had something more insightful to add but they just aren’t very good.

FAU is moving the ball well on this opening drive. But they're forced to go for it on 4th & 6 from the Marshall 23 yard line…

And Chris Robison is sacked for the second time in three plays. Awful blocking from the right side of the line. Robison had NO time to even set his feet.

Herd ball on their own 30 yard line.
