Merchandising is such a huge element for the success of growing the program.  Howard Schnellenberger who was instrumental with taking the Hurricanes merchandising to the next level called me to his office several weeks back and was very supportive of the progress and impact we have had in a short time.

In the end, we hope we push other merchandisers to be better and they push us to be better.  The program will become the beneficiary.

Hey Mark I ordered the road #2 jersey a few days ago. I know it's a medium but this football season I may have packed on a few extra pounds do to the mass consumption of beer. lol. If I need a large can I just send it back for another one? Also, will you guys be selling the game used football jerseys from years past anytime soon? I figure it's a possibility since we now have new uni's

If you need to trade for a different jersey, don't ship it back.  That will just cost extra money.  I will meet up with you before an event, etc., and trade it out, no problem.

As far as us selling the old football unis.  Yes, that has been the plan for a long time.  The hold up is that every players name has to be removed from the jersey (NCAA rules).

Looks like my Garret Jahn and Danston Dareus jerseys will be worth more than Avery Holleys one day!

Not sure the rules have ever changed because as far as I know, it was never acceptable to make money from an amateur athlete's name.  My guess is someone made a mistake.  You will not find any college player's jersey for sale (by a reputable company) anywhere with a player's name on it.

People sometimes buy a blank jersey and have someone put the name on it.  That's different.  What a private citizen does to the jersey after they buy it is their business.

The basketball team was going to put the player's names on the backs of the jerseys last year and I let a few people know that it makes it difficult to sell so they changed their minds and did not get the player's names on the back.

Or if there is something on the site you just want to see, let me know and I will make every effort to bring it.  Sometimes things look better in person than in a photo so that's not a problem.

However,  I cannot sell you anything while I am there.  The bookstore has an exclusive contract with FAU for transactions of merchandise on campus and I will respect that contract.

So I can deliver merchandise already purchased, or I can show you merchandise so you can decide if you would like to purchase it at another time.
