So that's… what… 33 now?  66 teams.  There are 120 D1A teams.  Eight bowl-eligible teams didn't go to bowls last year.  So technically, we're probably still not going to run out of teams.  One of these years…

But seriously, folks, how many 6-6 MAC teams do you want to see in the postseason?  This is ridiculous.

As long as people go to see the game they will continue to add bowls, and since they will in the future add more FBS teams the number of bowls will continue to grow.  But none of them really matter unless you go to a BCS bowl, so why not.  I'd go to see a 6-6 FAU team play…maybe not a MAC team

The trop is a little hard to describe.  The outside is a little rundown, but not that bad.  They just spent a bunch of money on it two years or so on it to redo it.  The inside is cool though, when you walk in and go around the stadium to find your section, they made it look like an indoor city street.  Has shops and bars on both sides of the walkway that look like buildings.  Coolest part is the budzone or something like that.  It is a bar that juts out over the outfield, where you can sit at a table on the field and heckle the outfielders.  And they have a stingray tank where you can feed 'em.  I don't like baseball, but I do like going there for the games, cheap too.

As long as no playoff is in place, then I'm in favor of as many bowls as possible.  Who cares? As long as bowls are nothing more than vacation-money making exhibition games, then I say let teams play in them wherever a sponsor can put up the money.

As of right now college football is decided based upon ONE game which is decided by computers with no playoff to actually get there.  Outside of TV and money, the other BCS games don't mean squat either.

I'm pretty thrilled with this new bowl game.  If UCF wins CUSA, we go to Memphis (great bowl).  If not, we're almost a lock to go to the St. Pete bowl which is GREAT with me since that means a game vs. a Big East team and a GREAT city vs. Birmingham or Mobile.

I'd much rather go to a St. Pete beach than some bar in Birmingham or Mobile.

Sounds really sweet.  I'll be over there end of April to check it out first hand.

The Trops not bad at all if you ask me.  Its been redone inside and just about every seat in there is good.  Its just in a somewhat shady side of town but they're slowly cleaning it up. 

I know it was stated above that there are too many bowls, and I used to think that way, but anyway to extend the football season is good with me.  Until there is a playoff system, (I know, I know), it doesn't really matter what bowl your in unless it's the NC game.  Either way, I'm pretty excited, cause like Roscoeowl said, everyseat in there is good.  Afterparty at my place!

The only thing I would say is bad about so many bowls is it then makes it progressively easier to beat the FAU record of fastest team to go to and win a bowl... Other than that as long as it makes money for the team and it adds a game to the season then I like it.

When its all said and done… I think we'll have plenty of records to hang our hats on.  8)
