That's some serious mileage SigEp77. Are you an independent contractor or you get company reimbursed?

I work directly for ADT, residential sec. sales; not an IC. However, I do get a measly auto reimbursement, but do get the tax benefits this time of year. I write off about 25K business miles/yr.

I don't think some of the guys I work with pay attention to how much driving they do or what's going on in the economy, someone in my same position just bought a Lincoln Navigator and some have Mustangs. The Civic def. helps out since maintenance is so low.

Tuesday I get to venture down to Miami so I can give everyone a report on the prices in that market as well. Just paid $2.98/gal at the Gas One in Delray Beach to fill up the wife's car though.

A friend just moved 2 counties away to Hernando County. But he still works in Hillsborough County. He traded in his C-Mercedes for a …………….H3!!

Yep! 64 miles one way and he traded for the vehicle that Goldilocks stole.

Hawaii and Cali Owls…you out there? I saw reports on the news about $4.00! Is that a widespread price out there?

I just paid $2.97 per gallon the lowest I could find for regular here in the O.C (Fountain Valley). Moved out here a couple months ago from metro Atlanta and I thought gas prices were getting out of hand over there!

I lived in GA a few years. I made sure I topped off the tank before I crossed the state line. I don't remember exactly but its about 20-25 cents cheaper in GA. Less gas taxes in the price.

In Tampa, the 7-11/Citgo station by my house just changed to $2.99 TODAY.

Just back from Miami a few hours ago and prices down there were mostly around the $2.97/gal. mark.
