Yep, Flagcraft is now an official vendor. They had a bunch of new flags made up before the Monroe game.

Re: looking for an fau flag

They have 2 versions, the oval Owl head (below) and the winged FAU logo. Both are 3x5. With the FAU discount (just ask) they are $32. Call Flagcraft at 561-395-4411. They still had a few of each design left and said they would be making some more with red, white and blue if the demand for these are high enough.

Interesting back story. Some of you might remember that Flagcraft used to make flags with the old logo but once FAU went with their new marketing company they were told to stop printing FAU stuff. And of course the new marketing firm did nothing for us.

Well I guess Schnelly got tired of going to other stadiums and seeing all the fans with their own school flags and wondered why FAU didn't have any with the new logo. So the guy at Flagcraft said Schnelly basically told the school he wanted some flags and sent his secretary over to have them ordered up. And that's how Flagcraft, which has always supported FAU athletics, got the go-ahead to print them up.

I just picked up my new one today so I can bring it to Gainesville. I finally have a replacement for the one that was stolen last season.

Re: looking for an fau flag

ok, im a little confused as to how you hang these…they only have grommets…do they have the ones that will actually fly on a traditional flag pole - that you slide over the pole…

i would ike to purchase one but don't want it "suspended" upside down vertically…….

I don't know about the first part of the story, but Nina (Schnelly's secretary) did go over and get the flags. She was very excited!
