He hit a line drive at me in intramural softball in 2003...the knot on my shin is still there, not kidding.

Teambeer is the most knowledgeable FAU sports fan I know, way smarter than me.

Blast from the past...

Former FAU Basketball star, Brett Royster.  The leading shot-blocker in Sun belt Conference history.  The guy had amazing timing. The shots he didn't block, he was able to change the shooter's shot just from his reputation as a shot-blocker.

Brett still goes to a lot of the FAU Basketball games with his wife, April, and baby, Gwen.

Here is a new shirt we just created (available in cotton or performance polyester).  The Font is exactly what the Font will look like on the Football Uni's this year...with the "Atlantic" being more dominant than the "Florida."

Blast from the Past...

Former FAU Football player, Dave Matlock.  Played on the New Orleans Bowl team (OL). I remember his family tricked out a travel trailer and created an open air stainless steel grilling kitchen and would haul it to the tailgate at Lockhart.  The thing was huge and amazing.  After the games, they would cook a meal for the players.

Currently he is a Sales Consultant for Medical devices in central Florida.

I found an excerpt from Ted Hutton's blog on how the 22 foot trailer was equipped:

Stainless steel appliances including griddle, smoker and freezer.

Regular kitchen oven.

Two-burner stove and microwave oven.

Liquor cabinet with margarita-making area.

Sink with hot and cold running water.

Two 100-pound propane tanks.

A 6,500-watt generator.

Bring it back. We need it at the stadium. Someone get a hold of him and see if he has tickets.
