New Owl's Nest Platform On the Way!

Hey guys, with some of the threads with a ton of pages, we have to manually type in the page we'd like to visit if we don't want one of the first 5. Is it possible to get a "last" option?

We see:
ex: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, (..)

But clicking on (..) used to expand the page list, now it says type in the number. It's inconvenient as I am usually trying to go to the last page in the conversation and I don't know what that number is.

Make sense?

The last page is the last number in the range to jump to…….

That option shows up only when you are on a specific topic, for example when looking at the Update on German's Status and you are seeing it in the Football Section it only shows up to 5 when you click on the link for the topic then you can select the drop down or last.

Where are you getting "See last post" at??
Sorry, the exact wording is "View the most recent posts on the forum."

You know, the way it used to be… you clicked on Forums, scrolled down to "View the most recent posts on the forum" and clicked on it, and could then scroll through the most recent posts instead of the most recent threads with posts in them.

I already mentioned this to Francois. He's aware of it. It's on the list, I hope. As I explained, this was a huge thing for me about why I loved this message board over others. Even the FIU site doesn't have that option... you have to go through the individual threads. It's annoying.

Maybe I'm the only one. But I don't think I am.

If you guys see a "Down Arrow" like in the picture below ... it will take you directly to the last post.  I will add "last" as an option on the pagination .

Down Arrow

Which will also indicate "new" post …

FYI
'Edit post' button is sometimes leading to "Critical Error - bailing out" error pages with HTML gobbledygook.

I didn't forget about this … other things had priority unfortunately … it is on the list of things to get hammered out.
