Still can't believe after last year's disaster we went 11-5 and win the division.  GO FINS! now lets see how far we can get.

Tough game today.  The Ravens are very good.  Ed Reed is amazing.  He's just ALWAYS around the ball.  They'll give whoever they play next week a great game.

I can't be too upset about the loss.  We went from 1 win to AFC East champs in one year.  I didn't think this was an elite team in any way, so the playoff loss wasn't unexpected.  I am just happy that the Fins are finally heading in the right direction.  They were able to accomplish a lot in one year.  The QB situation is set…hopefully for the next decade with Pennington and Henne.  They rebuilt the D-line.  The O-line has the makings of becoming a real good line for a long time with Long, Smiley(when healthy), and Carey(who they must re-sign).

Top priority is to find a #1 WR.  It was evident today that they need a real playmaker.  Bess and Camarillo are good #2/3 guys, and Ginn can be a dangerous deep threat, but they need a true #1 guy.  They also need another pass rusher and some DB help.  Give Parcells and Ireland another draft and free agent season and we'll get to the next level.

Frustrating game to watch yesterday, but as fauowls44 said, I'm really not dissapointed.  We made the playoffs after a seven year drought and after a 1-15 season last year.  We've got a skilled, young team, with a good crew leading on both the sidelines and the field.

Back to the game though, Baltimore just beat us at every aspect of the game.  Other than Pennington's picks, I didn't really see any mistakes we were making, they were just the better team.  Oh yeah, I was, and still am pissed about that 4th quarter punt with like 7 minutes left.  We had lost the game at that point, down by two scores, and we give the ball away? >:(.  I'm sure it was too far for a field goal attempt, but hell atleast try it, or just go for it.  Reminded me a bit too much of Wannedstadt.

Looking forward to next season already.
