I think its time to get over Corey Silcox. We passed on him because he couldnt play up to the level of out other recruits. If he could we would have signed him. Peace Out.

From what we have heard, Corey is a very good player.

I'm guessing you don't attend FAU and you have some sort of beef with Corey otherwise you woudn't have posted this anonomously.

I dont have beef with Corey, Im just saying that if he was a good as advertised than FAU would have got him. Im sure he is a great kid but I dont think that everyone should keep talking about a kid that isnt going to play here.

He is off the Troy team, as per a university press release.

No reason given.

It's a shame.


Practice Notes: Two incoming players left the team before the first practice session. Freshmen Corey Silcox and Ryan Aycock both departed for unspecified reasons … Sean Dawkins (knee), Chris Jamison (hamstring) and Sherrod Martin (shoulders) all missed practice today and are day-to-day … Former Trojan offensive lineman Junior Louissaint was on hand to witness practice. He just concluded his season in the NIFL with their Lakeland, Fla., Thunderbolts.
