Former FIU Player Lance Preston was killed in a motorcycle accident. This is really terrible and our prayers go out to his family in this time of lose and to FIU's football family.

That is tragic. The boy was so young.

Very sad indeed. I pleaded with mine to avoid getting a motorcycle. I'm grateful that he heeded my advice.

Almost lost a leg and my life. This is not the place to own a bike.

Hey, thanks for the kind words, Owls fans. It is indeed very sad. He was well liked and a leader on the original team. I still remember him playing with a cast in his arm during the Inaugural game against St. Peter's…and making plays.
