This won't be about negligence or anything. This will be about PR as UCF will settle for the state maximum of 200k. It won't be $10 million as the money comes from the state and they have capped their payout at 200k. It wouldn't even be close to 10 mill without the cap anyhow.

I worked for a medical malpractice firm in West Palm Beach for a few years….you have zero idea what you are talking about.  A wrongful death suit is ALWAYS worth millions.

Maybe if it was a private individual or something but this is against a state agency. The law caps it at 200k. So its clear you are the one who has zero idea about what you are talking about.

Easy, I have a cousin that likes UCF guys and has been in a slump lately.  I didn't mean any disrespect, that young man seemed to have a lot of class and potential and what happened is a tragedy…no doubt about that.  Furthermore, my condolenses go out to his family and I hope whatever means they take in attempt to make them feel rectified and whole again does exactly that.

Alright, thought some more…I truly apoligize for that post, I didn't realize you were taking the topic of the legal ramifications of the tragedy as serious as you were.  In my mind I was sparring with a UCF fan about the possible settlement amount fo the case  and he proved me wrong and that comment was meant more as a joke than any sort of personal attack…went over like a lead baloon.  In the past your fans have come to this site and said some pretty immature stuff themselves and my comment was more a product of that…not how I feel about the death of your player.  Again, I sincerely apologize…did not mean for that comment to offend you to that level or to make a joke of a tragedy.

I agree.  I would hope when/if tragedy hits FAU, UCF fans would show more class then FAU is showing. Pathetic, is all I will say.

Come on, that's pretty harsh.  Speculating on the size of the lawsuit might be a little tacky, but nobody here is poking fun at UCF over this (and certainly not "happy" about it, as you said earlier).  For the most part, this thread has been fairly objective.

We're cool. I don't take any of the internetz seriously. I like to have my fun. This is a more serious topic so maybe not the right place for it. Plus lets be honest the gay comeback really wasn't your best work.

No it surely wasn't his best work. Take his reason for going to the Mich State game this year:
