Leavitt is Serious trouble to USF

School investigating  an assault on a player witness by other coaches and players. It could be the end of him at USF.

Terrible timing for USF with signing day very soon, here's to hoping FAU can step in a pick-up a few this may turn off from playing for that ass!

Come to FAU - We won't waste your talent like Cristobal, we won't beat you like Leavitt, and we won't kill you like O'Leary.

No sooner that I post the article above and came across this one…this morning.

There is more to this story. Why would it come out and now the kid backs off? This is very strange.

Of course the player is going to say that. That's why whistle-blowers are few and far between. He's concerned about the backlash.

Either the story was a lie and the writer should lose his job and be forced to bag groceries for the rest of his life…Or…

a) the kid was further threatened (physical harm, lawsuit, BLACKLISTED from EVER playing football anywhere EVER again or
b) the kid and/or family is being paid off to shut up and back off.

How do you post a poll here???

The original story had direct quotes from his father confirming it happened. And his high school coach. And players on the team. Leavitt himself admitted that he called him into his office twice to "apologize" for something…what would he apologize for if nothing happened?

Also, like you said, the journalist has everything to lose if this were untrue. I find it hard to believe that he has SUCH an axe to grind with Leavitt that he'd risk his career by making up 7 sources and writing a lengthy article with MULTIPLE direct quotes from key people in this situation.
