So the big 10 becomes the big 12, while the big 12 becomes the big 10? lol

Yup, REAL weird, but I think they sould do the right thing and give them proper names per their membership numbers if they want to use that in their name.

Having the Big10 playing with 11 teams AND them being so pompous about their academic standards for membership is just wrong to me. Not much of a standard to set is it.

Oh, I forgot, considering the Leaders and Legends division names they have chosen and stuck with despite MUCH ridicule and the way THE Ohio St. University has been acting (all the way to the top), what standards. Actually mking the SunBelt look good in comparision, at least as far as not being arrogant.

Might want to see what the NCAA has planned for their next few years - OSU NOT being wiling to "excuse" themselves from a bowl as punishment this year might come back to bite them long term.

OSU set to introduce Meyer next football coach

Wow, this is really an awkward move.  This cements for me that he knew UF's program didn't have the talent to keep winning.  He took a year break???  Doesn't make sense.

That being said, I know his record speaks against me….I dont think he is that great of a coach.  Will be interesting to see how this goes.  OSU has a stud freshman QB.

I fully believe he knew he was losing Tebow and Brantley wasn't nearly as good so he "stepped down for health reasons". I think he's a good coach, he proved that already at Utah

No, I definelty think his track record speaks for itself…but there is something about the way he handled leaving UF.  I just wouldn't want him as my coach if I had gone to a major school.  If Urban were smart he'd be begging Zook to come on as his recruiting coordinator at OSU.
