Since when were we talking about Miami. That guy is just one player. How did that 5* recruit named Tebow do these past few years. What happened to all of fau's scholys?  Why were they only able to sign 11 players this year? Is it also true that fau can only afford about 10 scholys during the summer? What about all the other players on the team?

We are talking about players getting in trouble with the law. You want a Florida example Carlos Dunlap.

Teams go through some years with more scholarships and some with less. FAU has a small class this year. That will change next year.

Is it true that you can only have a few scholy players over the summer?  Oleary may be an idiot but at least he does run his mouth about other teams. Oleary also does not let his wife run all over the field during halftime which is very annoying and embarrassing. I saw it myself when usf played in lockhart.

I don't know anything about 'summer scholarships.' My understanding was that scholarships are for 5 years unless you are an idiot and get kicked off the team or don't make grades. I have never heard of a limit on 'summer scholarships' or the existance of such a thing. It most likely has something to do with the number of credit hours that a student-athlete can enroll for over the summer. If that is the case I don't expect that too many players are beating down the doors to take summer courses since they already get 5 years to graduate.

BTW if that guy is really "scizod" then I'd like to say he's not really a UCF fan, just an individual that for whatever reason absolutely hates FAU.

The only time he posts on our board is if it's negatively related to FAU.

Yeah, he's on Ted's blog all the time under various names as well. It's a near-obsession with him. He claims to have graduated from both schools.

I am rarely on Teds blog.  I also have a legit reason for hating FAU.  If you went through what I went through while dealing with that old fart then you would hate FAU.  He practically tried to get me fired from my old job because I would not give him info on one of his players being treated at a facility I was working at.

Ok you're entitled to your own opinions. If you don't like Ted that's fine. Not everyone is going to like everyone else. Why come on to an FAU message board, create a name like "Owl Pride" and then just bash FAU any chance you get? I don't get it.  ???

There are plenty of fans from other schools on this board (FIUPanthers, UCFKnight, WKUSlamDunk). Obviously they aren't fans of FAU either but they are pretty respectful and don't bash FAU any chance they get and don't use a name like Owl Pride when they aren't FAU fans.
