Fact is, there are 5 votes. Meaning there are 5 people that think Troy is top 25 material. And in the comming weeks there will be more than 5 votes. I only hope that Troy could upset LSU and then Troy would be set for a top 25 ranking!

If you go into Baton Rouge and beat LSU, I'll have no problem saying you should be ranked.  But right now, there is no arguement that you can make for being "top 25 material".  I'm sorry, but you don't deserve to be ranked if you don't have a single win over a winning team.  That you beat the #17 team a couple of years ago is completely irrelevant.

You finally said something I agree with.  Would be great for the SunBelt to have a ranked team.  Brings more legitamacy to the SunBelt which will help us get those bowl tie-ins we need so badly.

Troy is a good team, but I seriously have my doubts about them being a top 25. I have doubts about ANY sunbelt team being a TOP 25 for the forseable future.

Now if Troy beats LSU, they may deserve a 25 ranking.

If Troy beast LSU, it will ONLY benefit the Belt, however it wont benefit us as much as say if FAU/ULM/FIU did it. Troy has had a good team for years. Its knocked off a big name before, just hasnt been able to do it again.

They havent beaten anyone that was great (including us) They are playing good solid football, by taking the mistakes opponents are giving them and converting, and not making many mistakes themselves.

I hope Troy beats LSU. Then loses the next 3 Sunbelt games.  8)
