Troy already beat them

The conference appears to be a lot stronger. FAU, TROY, MTSU, ASU, and ULM all look pretty solid. Each game could be a toss-up. It could make for a very interesting year.

If there's any truth in college football, it's that Ohio State is overrated.

USC, on the other hand, is not.

Exactly.

I don't know if you guys watched that game or not but MTSU gave it away…they had a number of chances in the red zone and squandered them. I remember thinking that once they start to click they'll be a tough team to beat and you better believe that FAU traveling to Murfeesboro this year, they'll want to make sure they're not the only team in the Belt shooting for the title with a conference loss!

So was the game close because Kentucky player poorly or MTSU played very well?

I know they don't have Andre Woodson anymore but I don't know how much that has affected their offensive performance.

Kentucky looked pretty solid against Louisville. The Kentucky defense was especially strong.

Remember: MTSU almost knocked off Louisville last year early in the season and then had some losses in conference. That said, I don't know how much stock I put in MTSU's game against Kentucky.
