This is a great hire for FAU, he failed in the CBA, Pacers and the Knicks, he has no college experience and has no experience recruiting.  He was a terrible judge of talent at the pro level, how will he be able to evaluate a high school kid, yes he will get recruits because of his name but eventually I think that will fizzle out.  Also is he another Dougherty who is just looking to hopefully establish himself and use FIU as a springboard to go to the next level.

I'm interested in how much he's going to get paid.  It can't be much seeing i think that their athletics just cut $1,000,000 and they are still keeping Sergio.


On a side note about Sergio, did anyone see when he threw a clipboard across the Burrow 2 years ago?

I can't wait for Isiah top come to the Burrow. I'm not a Knicks fan but I plan on torturing him and letting him know he sucks at his job. He probably will get some big recruits just because of his name. He'll be there 2-3 years tops would be my guess. I'm sure this is just a ploy for him to eventually get back into the NBA and find a job or if he can do well with FIU go to a bigger school with more money.

Good for FIU in hiring him, it's a big name which attracts attention, but all Isiah is good for is sexually harassing women. The Knicks had all the money in the world and they had a legendary NBA coach and they still sucked.
