Virginia Tech continues to shell out the money to the non-AQ schools and Arkansas State is the latest recipient. The Red Wolves announced that the Hokies have shelled out a $1 million guarantee for a Sept. 17, 2011 game at Lane Stadium/Worsham Field in Blacksburg, Va.

The million-dollar agreement matches the largest in school history. Auburn paid the Red Wolves $1 million for its game in 2010.

The meeting in 2010 will be the fourth meeting between the two teams. They met in 1994, 1997 and 2002. The Red Wolves are 0-3 against the Hokies and have been outscored 147-14.
