Rivalries don't happen over night or in five years they take years and the more the bigger ;)

I agree, FIU fans are a little obsessed with UM. Just like Troy fans are obsessed with Auburn. But I think it's only natural.

Whenever you have a new, up-and-coming team in competition for the same fanbase as an older, more established program, the newer team's fans will always have a chip on their shoulder and feel like they have something to prove.

But I think once both our programs start becoming more recognized, the rivalry will grow. Right now, though, I wouldn't call it a "rivalry."
