Wearing solid black uniforms and before a black-clad, record crowd of 28,105, MTSU dominated the final three quarters and routed the visiting Tigers 31-14 Saturday night at Floyd Stadium.

“It was great,” said MTSU Coach Rick Stockstill, whose team needed a final-play Hail Mary to defeat Florida Atlantic 14-13 in the 2008 Blackout game. “Our fans keep getting better. It was a great atmosphere and we can make this a great home field advantage with the way we play and how enthusiastic our fans are.”
