North Texas loses stadium opener

North Texas lost their new stadium opener to Houston. See link to article below;

Keenum 5 TD passes, Houston wins 48-23 at UNT - College Football - Rivals.com

Note that they did not quite sell out - even with Houson being the opponent, name team from not that far away, not impressive. We will get little help from the traveling crowd for Western Kentucky down here, a few hundred, maybe.

That beng said we can still be 2-3 when we get here as LL and NT are not impressive teams so far and DEFINATELY, not the three straight top 25 BigSix schools we will be finished with. Right now I just pray for no injuries from the Auburn game, THAT will be our win if we get that result!

I agree Ga, I expect to be 2-3 opening the stadium, lets hope we get it together soon!

But only 2-3 if we turn the D loose on this level of opponents and force errors, just like against our own O! No more sitting back and playing not to lose - you are almost guaranteed to lose that way!

Re: North Texas loses stadium opener

There is NO CHANCE we win 2 of the next 3 games.  Not with Wilbert at QB…no way.  If he is our best option we might be looking at UCF circa 2004…0-12.  I am not being dramatic either.

Teambeer is the most knowledgeable FAU sports fan I know, way smarter than me.

Think so??

No chance of a:

But sriously, think the odds are better than that, however not likely from what has been displayed the last two weeks by the O.
