I turned on Extreme Makeover about 20 minutes into the program and the USA football team showed up in full pads to knock down some of the interior of the house.  Must have been in the Mobile area. If you miss the first part of the program, they might not mention the location again.

I wasn't aware USA had any team yet.

On December 6, 2007, The school's Board of Trustees approved the addition of football to the intercollegiate athletics program. The team is scheduled to begin play in 2009 with a full transition to the NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision (Division I-A) by 2013.

On February 15, 2008, President Gordon Moulton and Athletic Director Joe Gottfried announced Joey Jones, former University of Alabama and Atlanta Falcons receiver, as the first head football coach in the university's history.

So they have players like we did before we played our first ever game but they don't have any opponents yet

12/06/07 is only a little over 3 months ago. The head coach was picked 2 months ago. This program was supposedly filmed around superbowl time because that is one of the places they were sent while the house was being built. That doesn't explain why there is a team already. I wouldn't think they could put together walkons and buy uniforms and pads before the sport is approved. With no coaches, who put the team together?

I think USA has or had a club level team. Maybe these guys belong to it, or maybe it's another "reality" show stretching the truth. Imagine that?
