Looks like Willie Taggert (WKU coach) is now the hot commodity as far as HC in the belt goes. Name being mentioned as potential replacements in Arkansas, Kentucky or Louisville if Charlie Strong takes a job somewhere else

I know, but S. Miss IS 0-3 now with a rookie HC too! And FIU is at the VERY SAME 1-3 we are with O injuries and a very shaky D so far this year.

Good point, just crazy how much each program has changed…in WKU's case progression and in S. Miss case regression.

Willie Taggart has done a great job there, keeping him will be a challenge though. He'll have a ton of offers after this year, especially if they keep the winning up.

I'm interested to see what happens to Mario down south after this year…his team wins 2 games, is he still the hottest commoddity in Florida?  ;)

The Louisiana-Monroe vs. Baylor football game that was televised live on ESPN Friday, September 21 was watched by a record number of viewers for the Sun Belt Conference.

Friday’s night game was watched by over 12.7 million people with a rating of 1.8 - the highest rated in history for a game involving a Sun Belt Conference team. The previous highest rated game in Sun Belt history was the FIU at Louisville game a season ago that earned a 1.4 rating.

They'd have to break rank with the UL system to do that, I guess…

ULL has already unofficially taken "University of Louisiana." LSU and Louisiana Tech are already taken…

They used to be called ortheast Louisiana University and before that Northeast Center of Louisiana State University.  ULM is definitely better than that.
