Thanks for the tipoff that this was happening, Rick.

Threw my hat in the ring with Collegetown Ave.

I also like Owl Ave and fauowl's suggestion (Florida Atlantic Way) so those are my Top 3 so far.

In my experience with these things - naming of Parliament Hall and Glades Park Towers, renaming of the Caf to Atlantic Dining Hall, etc - they tend to take pretty straightforward ideas most seriously.

If you have to explain what it means, that's usually a no bueno. So Dan Mica, Thomas Flemming, Blue Wave anything, the spanish names, etc are going to be tougher sells.

Interestingly no one has suggested the City's original recommendation of University Blvd yet.

The Mayor said she wanted something to reflect the exciting nature of what's going to happen there but if she's referring to something like "Innovation Way" or "It's Happening Ave" then that is completely barking up the wrong tree. If they were opening a new Business Park that would make more sense but this is about connecting the street to the university.

I'm excited that this is all happening and that the City has been pushing the Treasure Coast Regional Planning Council to expedite their assessment.

Dan Mica would not be that hard to explain, he was the first student government president and a former congressmen who represented this area.

It wouldn't be fair to name it after a football theme or coach.

Burrow Blvd
University Blvd (easy one)
College Alley
Sex Drugs and Rock & Roll Ave
Hoot Street (Lane, Road, Ave, etc)
