The biggest issue IMO is the types of guys we are investing in as our "blue chippers", not what funds/facilities we have.

Right, but the reason we are able to land these players is because of "issues" that they may have otherwise they would be at other programs. Without money to invest in the program that will always be the case imo.

The beauty in basketball is if even one of those kids keeps it together and is as good as advertised…(Raheem Brown) then we're dancing baby.
I'm happy to give Curry more time to get his team on track, I don't doubt that he can coach, it's getting the players that can execute.
Does Pat Chun even know who Matt McCall is?

Clown,,Jerk. Dusky , were you the "Guest" that was calling everyone names ? Grow up.Posted On: Dec 22nd 2015, 5:47 AM #353330
Nope, there is apparently more than one person that can't stand your negative comments.
It's funny how you can make whatever comments you want when you respond but then pull out the grow up when it goes against you. I'll try to slow down for you.
You still haven't responded to the shirt and hat? How about Miami, they have a good basketball team this year and a solid baseball program that should fit you.
GO OWLS!

As it relates to basketball, see below. This is from 2010. If anybody can show our 2014 budget that would be great, our revenes have increased over $8m or 33% in those 4 years Wonder if our men's basektball spending has increased at the same rate?

2014 Basketball expenses were $1,716,593. Ranking 202 out of 349 D1 basketball schools. I would guess most of the increase from 2010 would be from coaching & staff pay increases.
