After becoming just the 20th player in FBS history and second in Conference USA annals to return two kickoffs for touchdowns, Marshall junior KR Keion Davis has been named the C-USA Special Teams Player of the Week. The Offensive Player of the Week honor went to North Texas senior RB Jeffery Wilson, who ran 12 times for 176 yards and three touchdowns in a victory over Lamar. The Defensive Player of the Week award was given to Louisiana Tech junior LB Dae’Von Washington, who had a pair of interceptions in the Bulldogs season-opening win over Northwestern State. C-USA Football Players of the Week are voted on by a panel of the league’s media.
